Facilities

Vicious Wrestling Academy is an over 3000 square foot facility in a central, indoor location for guests to learn and practice their wrestling skills. The facility includes wrestling mats, wall mats, and restrooms. Also we have adequate seating for parents and family.

Youth wrestling programs have exploded in popularity over the past 10 years. Informal surveys indicate that facilities offering similar amenities draw guests from up to 40 miles away, if they can provide a safe, clean, state-of-the-art facility for honing wrestling skills. Within a 20 mile radius of VWA there are 400+ children involved in wrestling.

The indoor facility caters to the increasingneedof individualized skills training on a year-round basis. VWA provides a quality training environment for serious athletes and amateur enthusiasts. VWA is attempting to flourish in the growing sports environment of the North area of Jefferson County.

Mission

1 - To promote interest in the sport of wrestling among parents and the youth of Jefferson, Blount and Walker County.

2 - To supervise, sponsor and financially assist a disciplined and competitive program of wrestling.

3 - To develop in members, the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty and respect for authority.

4 - To stress the concept of parents and children working and playing together in

all club activities so that the family may be strengthened in the process.
